Andrzej Kusch

Legal Counsel Trainee / Personal Injury Team / BFP Law Firm

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Jagiellonian University in 2014. Passed the national legal counsel trainee examination in the same year. Since 2015 has been undergoing the legal counsel apprenticeship in the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Kraków. In the years 2014 – 2016 completed postgraduate studies at the Cracow School of Business of Cracow University of Economics – Faculty of Finance and Accounting.

I became a part of the Personal Injury Team at the BFP Law Firm in 2013, starting as an intern and since then climbing the career ladder. During my time at Cracow’s university, I focused my education on medical law: I finished a medical law course (completed with the highest grade in my year), actively attended meetings of Scientific Circle of Medical Law and wrote my dissertation on the topic of patients’ rights. Due to my interest in medical law, joining the BFP Law Firm was my main goal, which I successfully achieved. During my first months of work at BFP Law Firm I had to combine my theoretical knowledge with real life problems. With proper guidance of legal counsel Jolanta Budzowska and legal counsel Karolina Kolary I successfully managed to do so, and am now focused on acquiring even more experience in that area.

I mostly deal with personal injuries cases involving malpractice and communication accidents prevalence. Working at BFP Law Firm provided me with an opportunity to take part in one of the biggest personal injuries cases in polish history. As my experience grows, I successfully attend more and more court hearings. I am constantly developing my capabilities and potentialities whilst undergoing the legal counsel apprenticeship.

After work I spend my time actively as I am a former member of polish national fencing team.
